Alias

Alias is a white male between the ages of twenty-five and forty. Nothing much is known about him except that he is on the run from the CIA and that both his parents are dead. Even his height is a matter of debate. Alias teaches disguise in the School of Deception.

Trigger Brown

Trigger Brown is a munitions expert who has worked for a wide range of dictators around the world. He offers a thorough grounding in all manner of explosives, from plastic to nuclear. Trigger Brown teaches explosives in the School of Destruction.

Carla Crook

Carla Crook’s microbiology degree has given her a solid grounding in the study of contagion. Her medical laboratory career was cut short after an unfortunate incident involving the Ebola virus; since then she has worked for Phineas Darkkon on various world infestation projects. Carla Crook teaches contagion in the School of Organic Distortion.

Dr. Deal

Dr. Deal is a graduate of the Sydney University School of Law. He has been a partner at the firm of Beelz, Hellish, and Turner for ten years, and he has successfully defended many of Australia’s most infamous criminals. Dr. Deal teaches loopholes in the School of Deception.

Art East

Art East has worked as an auctioneer, appraiser, bookseller, document dealer, and curator. His areas of expertise—signature reproduction and the history of paper manufacturing since 1750—have made him an invaluable member of a many notorious heist teams. Art East teaches forgery in the School of Deception.

Terry Evans

Terry Evans has a doctorate in molecular genetics and a background in cancer research. He is engaged in a wide-ranging study of the human immune system, which he describes as “highly adaptable” and “remarkably deadly.” Terry’s interest in mutation dates back to his childhood. “Our dog had puppies,” he says, “and one of them was born with two heads. How could I not be interested in that?” He’s eager to hear from any students willing to take part in a biogenetic experiment—discretion assured. Terry Evans teaches mutation in the School of Organic Distortion.

Brendan Graham

Brendan Graham has no formal degree in mathematics or accounting. He has never been arrested for either fraud or embezzlement, and he has no affiliation with any professional societies. When talking to Brendan, always state your name and course details first. Brendan is not available for consultations at any time. Brendan Graham teaches embezzlement in the School of Deception.

The Guru

The Guru is the reincarnation of a Tibetan llama. Unfortunately, his divine birth was ignored by politically motivated Buddhist monks. His profound spirituality and deep understanding of nature’s harmonic resonance makes him an excellent facilitator for students who want to explore and channel their superhuman powers. The Guru teaches power channeling in the School of Destruction.

The Führer

The Führer’s knowledge of ambush, raiding, booby-trap, and surprise-attack techniques are well suited for students who want to start their own guerilla armies or who already are military enthusiasts. The Führer teaches guerrilla skills in the School of Destruction.

Tracey Lane

Tracey Lane was a lingerie model, weather girl, and roving beauty reporter before she became a newsreader on the nine network at the age of twenty-seven. Her book, Just a Pretty Face: Grooming Secrets of a Professional Spokesmodel, kept her in the public eye after a disagreement with her employer led to her highly publicized resignation. Tracey brings many, many years of media experience to her role as the institute’s propaganda expert. Her motto is: “The less you understand something, the more convincing you’ll sound.” Tracey Lane teaches misinformation in the School of Deception.

Luther Lasco

Luther Lasco is a former mercenary who has a broad background in assassination techniques—from poisoning to blunt-force trauma. He has a special interest in human physiological vulnerabilities and has killed 352 people to date. Luther Lasco teaches assassination, including poisoning, in the School of Destruction.

The Maestro

The Maestro spent a year studying to be a priest before eventually becoming the head of a well-respected New Jersey-based crime family. He has bumped off a host of important underworld figures and is involved in many illegal activities, such as loan sharking, protection rackets, narcotics, and gambling. The Maestro teaches pure evil in the School of Deception.

Thaddeus Roth

Thaddeus Roth has a PhD in psychology and knows more about human motivation than Sigmund Freud. He runs his own private consultation practice, as well as the Axis Institute, but doesn’t believe in micromanaging. “If you have a problem,” he says, “I’m really not interested.” Thaddeus Roth teaches basic lying and manipulation in the School of Deception. Dr. Roth is also chancellor of the institute.

The Virus

The Virus has a Ph.D. in computer science, specializing in cryptography and security systems. His customized firewalls are almost as highly regarded as his firewall penetration programs. He is the creator of the Squosh, MFex, and Tinker viruses. The Virus teaches infiltration in the School of Deception.
